How to Cancel a Nomi AI Subscription on Web, iPhone or Android

Updated 2026-08-03

Cancel Nomi AI through web, Apple or Google Play, confirm renewal is off, and understand paid access, downgrades, refunds and billing errors.

Quick answer

Cancel Nomi through the platform where you originally subscribed. For a web purchase, open Nomi, tap Profile > Subscription > Manage Subscription > Cancel Subscription. For Google Play or Apple purchases, you can begin from the same Nomi Manage Subscription button or cancel directly in the appropriate store. Nomi says benefits remain until the current billing period ends, after which the account is downgraded.

Deleting the app does not cancel renewal. Canceling also does not automatically provide a refund or delete your account, Nomis, messages, images, or other data. Use the receipt and the message shown in Nomi's Subscription area to identify the billing channel before taking action.

First identify where the subscription was purchased

Nomi's cancellation policy requires users to cancel on the platform where the subscription started. Check the original receipt, then use this map:

Purchase sourceCancellation ownerConfirmation to keep
Nomi website in a computer/mobile browserNomi web Manage Subscription portalEnd date and cancellation email
Android/Google PlayGoogle Play purchasing accountPlay status and access-until date
iPhone/iPad/App StorePurchasing Apple AccountApple expiration message

The Nomi Subscription screen may tell you to switch to the web browser or app. Nomi says that message means the subscription must be managed on the named platform. It is not an error and should not be bypassed by creating another account.

Search every relevant email inbox for the order and compare the account email, seller, amount, currency, billing interval, and renewal date. Do not rely on the device currently in your hand; a subscription started on an old phone still belongs to the original store account.

How to cancel a Nomi web subscription

For a subscription purchased directly on Nomi's website:

1. Sign in to the correct Nomi account. 2. Tap the Profile icon at the bottom of the home screen. 3. Select the Subscription tab. 4. Tap Manage Subscription. 5. Scroll to Cancel Subscription. 6. Complete the confirmation prompts. 7. Save the displayed expiration date and confirmation.

If Manage Subscription says to use an app, follow the Apple or Google instructions instead. A web browser can display the Nomi account while the store still owns the billing agreement. Do not enter payment credentials into a “Nomi cancellation” page reached through an ad; use the official Nomi session or link from the receipt.

If the portal fails, capture the exact error and contact `support@nomi.ai` while still signed into the affected account when possible. Provide a transaction ID and a redacted receipt.

How to cancel Nomi on Android

Nomi documents two Android routes. Inside the Nomi app, open Profile > Subscription > Manage Subscription, then choose Cancel Subscription and follow the prompts. Or manage it directly in Google Play:

1. Open the Google Play Store. 2. Confirm the correct Google account is selected. 3. Tap the profile icon. 4. Open Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions. 5. Select Nomi. 6. Tap Cancel subscription and finish the prompts.

Google says uninstalling an app does not cancel its subscription. It also says canceled subscriptions normally remain usable through paid time. Read whether your purchase is a recurring subscription, prepaid plan, or payment plan, because stopping renewal does not necessarily cancel remaining installments already committed under a payment plan.

How to cancel Nomi on iPhone or iPad

Nomi also provides two Apple routes. Begin inside Nomi at Profile > Subscription > Manage Subscription > Cancel Subscription, or use Apple settings:

1. Open the device Settings app. 2. Tap your Apple Account name. 3. Choose Subscriptions. 4. Select Nomi. 5. Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.

Apple says a missing Cancel button or a red expiration message usually means the subscription is already canceled. If Nomi is not listed, search for “receipt from Apple” and use the Apple Account named on the receipt. You cannot cancel a family member's subscription from your own Apple Account.

Apple currently advises canceling a free or discounted trial at least 24 hours before it ends. Your store screen controls the actual deadline and regional conditions.

How to confirm Nomi renewal stopped

Do not use continued paid access as the test. Nomi says subscription benefits remain through the current paid period. Instead, look for:

Save the confirmation until after the expected renewal date. Set a reminder a few days before that date and check the same account again. If a new renewal date appears, contact the billing owner before it processes.

Also compare the plan name and billing interval on the confirmation. A canceled annual plan and an active monthly plan can coexist under separate receipts, so status must be matched to the exact order.

If you have more than one Nomi account or used more than one store identity, repeat the audit for each receipt. Canceling one order cannot stop a separate subscription.

Nomi is missing from Apple or Google subscriptions

The most common causes are a different store account, a web purchase, an expired subscription, or confusion between the Nomi account email and the store email. Try these checks:

1. Find the original order and renewal receipts. 2. Switch between Google accounts or Apple Accounts used on the device. 3. Check whether a family member made the purchase. 4. Open Nomi's Subscription tab and read the platform-management message. 5. Review the merchant descriptor on the bank statement. 6. Confirm the charge is from Nomi rather than a similarly named app.

Nomi's support form says a missing paid benefit can result from being signed into the wrong Nomi account. For transaction tracing, it asks for a transaction ID or payment confirmation and may request limited card details. Send those only through the current official support process; never share a full card number, password, or verification code.

What happens after the subscription expires

Nomi's cancellation policy says the account is downgraded after the current period. Its current refund/downgrade policy adds useful detail: at the time of the check, downgrading did not remove Nomis or block one-on-one chats, while paid features such as group chats, video creation, voice messages, and calls became read-only.

Nomi also says existing group chats and generated image/video/voice content were not removed at that time, but it did not guarantee preservation after downgrade. This is time-sensitive. Before expiration, save any content through supported methods if it is important and you are entitled to keep it.

A downgrade can change capacity, access, or feature behavior without deleting the account. Do not promise that every current free-tier capability will remain permanently available.

Canceling does not guarantee a refund

Nomi's current refund policy says payments are generally nonrefundable, including unused time, partial periods, buyer's remorse, lack of usage, dissatisfaction, or closing the account before the paid term ends. It also says the company may sometimes grant a partial or full refund at its discretion. That is not a guaranteed entitlement.

If Apple or Google processed the purchase, use that store's refund route. For a web charge or billing error, contact Nomi with the transaction ID, date, amount, currency, account email, and concise explanation. State whether the issue is an unauthorized charge, duplicate billing, missing benefits, or a renewal after documented cancellation.

Cancellation stops the next renewal; it does not automatically reverse the charge that just completed. Compare the cancellation timestamp, renewal timestamp, and timezone. Avoid contradictory simultaneous claims with Nomi, the store, and the bank unless genuine fraud or an unresolved dispute requires escalation.

Canceling is different from deleting the Nomi account

Canceling renewal leaves the Nomi account and its content in place, subject to free-tier limits. Deleting the account is a separate, irreversible privacy action. Deleting the mobile app is only a device action and does neither.

If you want complete departure:

1. cancel the correct subscription and save evidence; 2. settle any billing/refund issue; 3. preserve permitted content you need; 4. use Nomi's Account Settings deletion control; 5. verify the store no longer schedules renewal.

Nomi's deletion page says account deletion removes associated personal information, Nomis, and messages and cannot be undone. Its privacy policy gives a more specific processing statement: personal information is deleted within roughly 28 days after confirmation, and information in training archives would no longer be attributable to the user. Because deletion language differs by context, cite the current policy rather than promising instantaneous removal.

Cancel one plan versus change or downgrade a plan

If your goal is lower cost or fewer features—not leaving—check the current Manage Subscription options before canceling. A plan change may take effect immediately or at the next cycle depending on billing platform. Read the proration and effective-date screen before confirming.

Do not assume “downgrade” means a partial refund. Nomi's current policy says it does not provide credits for partial months or plan downgrades. Apple and Google can apply their own store mechanics. Capture the before/after plan, next billing amount, and effective date.

This guide intentionally excludes prices because plans, currencies, taxes, and offers change. Your authenticated subscription page and receipt are authoritative for your account.

If you were charged after canceling

Gather the cancellation confirmation, renewal receipt, transaction ID, store/processor, charge timestamp, and subscription page. Check for a second account or duplicate subscription. Then contact the billing platform named on the order.

A renewal may have processed before the cancellation completed, especially near the deadline. Explain the timeline accurately. If the new charge is truly after a confirmed effective cancellation date, highlight both timestamps and attach redacted evidence.

Use the card issuer's fraud process for an unrecognized charge only after identifying the merchant and checking authorized users. A chargeback does not necessarily cancel an underlying subscription and may affect the account.

A support message that gets to the point

Use a concise format:

> I am signed into [Nomi account email]. I purchased through [web/Apple/Google] under [store email]. Transaction ID: [ID]. I attempted cancellation on [date, time, timezone]. The subscription page now shows [exact status/error]. The next renewal/charge is [date and amount]. Please confirm whether renewal is disabled and advise on the documented billing error.

Attach only a redacted receipt and subscription-status screenshot. Nomi's official support page says replies are generally expected within 24–48 hours on business days, but this is not a guaranteed resolution time.

Frequently asked questions

### Can I cancel Nomi inside the app?

Yes. Nomi says the app's Profile > Subscription > Manage Subscription route can start cancellation. If it instructs you to use web or a store, switch to that original purchase platform.

### Why do paid features still work after canceling?

Nomi keeps benefits through the paid period. The expiration date—not current access—shows whether renewal is off.

### Does deleting the Nomi app stop billing?

No. Nomi explicitly says deleting the app does not cancel the subscription. Use web, Apple, or Google billing controls.

### Will my Nomis disappear when the plan expires?

Nomi's current downgrade policy says Nomis remain and one-on-one chat continues, while certain paid features become read-only. It does not guarantee permanent preservation, so recheck the live policy.

### Can I get a refund for unused time?

Nomi's policy generally excludes refunds for unused time, partial periods, downgrades, or dissatisfaction, while allowing possible discretionary exceptions. Store purchases follow Apple or Google processes.
