Who writes and tests our reviews
AI Girlfriend Lab is a small editorial team. Every review, comparison, and best list is assigned to a named editor or tester who runs the probes in How we test. Scores are not ghost-written by vendors or affiliate partners.
Maya Chen — Editorial Lead
Maya owns the published methodology, assigns review update cycles, and signs off when pricing or policy changes alter scores. She does not accept paid ranking placement and enforces the three-CTA limit for affiliate buttons.
Focus areas: editorial independence, score change governance, hub page quality.

Jordan Reyes — Senior Product Tester
Jordan maintains paid and free accounts on each major platform in our batch-1 cluster. He runs conversation, memory, and media probes documented in How we test and captures checkout screenshots for pricing verification.
Typical week: three conversation scripts per product, one memory probe, one pricing re-check on products with volatile checkout pages.
Recent work includes Candy AI, Nomi, and Kindroid update cycles.
Elena Kostova — Fact-Check Editor
Elena verifies price tables, feature limits, and policy claims against official vendor pages before publication. She processes reader corrections within five business days when steps are reproducible.
Checklist items: auto-renewal language, token/coin pricing, deletion path screenshots, and whether marketing claims match settings UI.

Shared testing protocol (all reviewers)
Every commercial article follows the same evidence layers:
1. Tested — hands-on session with dated notes in the review body. 2. Pricing verified — official checkout or pricing page scraped; amounts show scrape date. 3. Policy verified — settings or policy page confirmed when claiming limits. 4. Editorial inference — rubric judgment labeled as opinion, not vendor fact.
