Deletion vs. Canceling Subscription
Cancel subscription stops future charges; delete account requests removal of profile and chat history per vendor policy. Do both if you are leaving the category — cancel first if deletion is buried in support menus.
General Steps (Most Apps)
1) Cancel auto-renew (see cancel guide). 2) Open Settings → Privacy or Account. 3) Choose Delete account / Close account. 4) Confirm email if prompted. 5) Screenshot confirmation ID. If no self-serve delete exists, email support and cite GDPR/CCPA where applicable.

What May Remain After Deletion
Billing records, fraud-prevention logs, and legal holds may persist. Marketing email lists sometimes survive — unsubscribe separately. Generated images stored locally on your phone are your responsibility to delete.
